Thesis Opportunities — Sleep and Dream Technology Research

Project overview
If you are completing a bachelor's or master's degree and have an interest in sleep and dream technologies, we offer supervised thesis projects across experimental, analytical and theoretical approaches. Projects can take the form of empirical studies, systematic reviews, secondary data analyses, or software and prototype development. We will work with you to define a feasible, methodologically sound topic that aligns with your programme requirements and timelines.

Student responsibilities
Typical tasks vary by project and may include study design, data collection and preprocessing, statistical or computational analysis, literature review, and preparation of written reports. You should expect regular meetings with a supervisor and potential collaboration with other team members. Where appropriate, there may be opportunities to present results or contribute to publications; authorship will follow academic conventions and actual contributions.

Supervision and support
Thesis participation is typically for academic credit and may be unpaid. Limited support for research-related expenses can be available depending on funding. Supervisors provide guidance on methods, milestones and expectations; working arrangements, including remote work where appropriate, will be agreed at the start of the project to ensure clarity and progress.

How to apply
Confirm that your study regulations permit external supervision. To apply, use the contact form and provide a brief CV, your degree programme and expected timeline, and a short statement (1–2 paragraphs) of your research interests and relevant skills. If available, include a concise description of a proposed topic. We will review submissions and arrange a meeting to discuss supervision and feasibility. Note that we limit concurrent students to ensure adequate support.
